Five adolescents have accused of criminal murder in the shooting a 24-year-old Nashville performer, as indicated by police. The artist, Kyle Yorlets, was shot outside his home on Thursday evening, police said Friday in an announcement.
The five minors - three young ladies and two young men - run in age from 12 to 16. They were captured at a Walmart in Nashville.
"The examination demonstrates that the five were in a stolen Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck in the rear way that keeps running behind Yorlets' home when they spotted him outside," police said. "The adolescents collaborated with Yorlets, took his wallet, and at last requested that he surrender the keys to his vehicle. It is trusted that he was lethally shot after he won't."
Police said a weapon was recuperated.
CBS Nashville partner WTVF reports that Yorlets had a place with a nearby band called Carverton.Being charged with criminal homicide in the Yorlets case are 3 girls, ages 15, 14, & 12, and 2 boys, ages 16 & 13. They will be taken to Juvenile Detention. They were all arrested at the West Nashville Wal-Mart. "We are in a condition of stun and are getting a handle on the truth that is currently before us," the band said in a Facebook post.
"We will always remember Kyle, and however he is gone too early his inheritance is digging in for the long haul," the band said.
