United Airlines investigates after a worker found in cargo hold following the flight from Charlotte to Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON — United Airlines says it is exploring after a seller representative was discovered safe in an air ship's freight hold following a departure from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Washington Dulles International Airport. 

The aircraft said in an announcement to The Associated Press on Monday that United Express flight 6060 worked by Mesa Airlines landed securely at Dulles on Sunday. 

The announcement says once, at the door, a worker of the aircraft's ground taking care of merchant was found in the freight zone. The worker wasn't distinguished. 

A representative for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority guided inquiries to United.
